"Business Administration Year of Establishment: 1993 About the Department The department of business is an interdisciplinary department that includes social and quantitative sciences such as economics, law and engineering. Hence, the opportunities for finding a job are high when graduated. The Department of Business Administration provides education in four majors. 1. Management Organization 2. Accounting and Finance 3. Quantitative Methods 4. Operations Management and Marketing Scope of the Department Individuals who are able to adapt to changing conditions in national and international competition with the education given in our Business Administration Bachelor's degree program, and who have the qualifications of executives, experts and researchers required in private sector, public institutions and organizations in the fields of finance, accounting, management and organization, marketing, quantitative and qualitative decision making. In the department, undergraduate and graduate programs such as MBA with and without thesis, e-MBA and Ph. D. (English and Turkish). The department conducts research and training on the ways to be followed in order to make operations more efficiently in organizations producing goods and services such as factories, banks, insurance and mining companies. The department of business has the highest number of students and academicians within the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. Many student clubs operate under the leadership of our students studying in the department. In this framework, social and cultural gains are achieved within the university. Education Period and Major Courses The education period for undergraduate students is four years. In the department, besides courses such as accounting, finance, management, quantitative and qualitative decision making techniques, operations management, supportive courses related to law, finance, economics and engineering sciences are also taught.
