Süleyman Demirel University Faculty of Arts and Sciences Department of Chemistry was established in 1993. It started to take his first students between 1993-1994 and continued his education activities. The main purpose of the Chemistry Department; to educate well-equipped undergraduate and graduate students with national and international professional knowledge and skills in all fields of chemistry and chemistry, adhering to scientific research principles, meeting the interests of the country and the needs of society. Our vision; To raise individuals with knowledge and experience with their staff who constantly improve themselves in the fields of education, training and research, and to be among the well-known and respected departments in the national and international arena. Our Mission; To educate individuals who have the knowledge to do international studies with successful students trained at undergraduate and graduate levels, keep up with technological developments, gain inquisitive, interdisciplinary application skills, are aware of ethical rules, are environmentally sensitive, entrepreneurial, respectful, and contribute to the development of our country by quality scientific studies and research. Program Description: The Department of Chemistry has approximately 15 academic staff, 1 Research assistant, 141 undergraduate students and about 170 graduate students, consisting of Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor renowned in the National and International fields. This department provides an innovative undergraduate education and a high quality postgraduate program with its dynamic teaching staff. The Chemistry Department is a comprehensive department that offers a bachelor's, master's and doctorate degrees, specializing in all fields including biochemistry, analytics, inorganic, organic and physicochemistry.
