Food Engineering

"Food Engineering Department was established under the Faculty of Agriculture at Suleyman Demirel University (SDU) in 25. 02.1994. At the begining the education of food engineering were started in Atabey with 30 students. In 1999 the department were moved to its new building in the central campus which is located 7 km from the city center and still continues education and training there. The program continues its undergraduate education and training within the Faculty of Engineering. In 8 March 2012 the department left Faculty of Agriculture and moved to the Faculty of Engineering with other departments which includes Environment, Electronics, Communication, Industry, Food, Construction, Geophysics, Geology, Chemistry, Mining, Food, Automotive and Textile Engineerings. The Master's degree program was started in 1998 and also PhD program is continued since 2002 in Food Engineering department.
