Nutrition and Dietetics
Dieticians are healthcare professionals who have successfully completed at least 4 years of nutrition and dietetics undergraduate program, and have been awarded to practice this profession by obtaining "Nutrition and Dietetics Undergraduate Diploma" and the title of "Dietitian". Dieticians are the only authorized professional group that; who knows food and nutrition in the best way; investigates and evaluates nutritional health problems; informs the society about adequate and balanced nutrition; raises awareness; plans, implements and monitors medical nutrition therapy programs suitable for other medical treatments in diseases and other special conditions. This profession is the leader in the field of consultancy to governments, international institutions, industry and media. The aim of the nutrition and dietetics department is to provide social contributions by conducting studies and research in this field for the protection and improvement of the health, and the establishment of adequate and balanced nutrition awareness in the society.
