"The Deparment of Turkish Language and Literature aim that using the highest level of Turkish verbally and written, having general information about Turkish Language and Literature’s historical development, reading and understanding of the literary texts written wild old mansucripts, compiling about the folklore, preparing scientific study in any fields of Turkish Language and Literature. Graduated from The Deparment of Turkish Language and Literature work as research assistant, teacher in MEB’s (Ministryof Education) scholls and public scholls, specialists in archives and various units in TRT (Turkish Radio Television). The Deparment of Turkish Language and Literature has five chapters as Old Turkish Language, Modern Turkish Language, Old Turkish Literature, Modern Turkish Literature and Folklore. Three professors, two associate professor, four asist professors and four research assistants work in The Deparment of Turkish Language and Literature. The department has master and doctorate program.
